Head of Logistics Development Service, Ministry of Development
Alexandra Nassou studied Communication and Mass Media at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Master's degree in Public Administration. She is fluent in four foreign languages: English, French, German, and Italian.
From 1997 to 2010, she worked at Goldair Handling S.A. (at Elliniko Airport and Athens International Airport), serving, among other roles, as Director of Ground Equipment (orders and operations planning) and Director of Ground Handling Service Contracts with airlines.
Since 2010, she has been appointed to the General Secretariat of Commerce at the Ministry of Development. She served as Head of the Chambers of Commerce Department and is now Head of the Logistics Development Service, responsible for the strategic coordination of the implementation of the institutional framework for logistics. Her broad responsibilities include coordinating all services, bodies, and actions for the planning, development, and monitoring of the country's logistics network, as well as supporting the provision of related services and information.
By undertaking the European eFTI4ALL project, she has taken on the task of preparing Greece for the digitisation of freight documents and the creation of the National eFTI Portal.
As a member of the National Council for Development and Competitiveness in Supply Chain Management, she contributes to the public debate on improving entrepreneurship in supply chain management and logistics and on further increasing the GDP of this major sector of the economy.
